Man Utd boost as Marseille pull contract offer for whizkid Lihadji

Manchester United have received a boost in their chase for youngster Isaac Lihadji.

The teenager is set to leave Marseille in January or the summer.

And the French club have pulled a contract offer they made to the 17-year-old, per RMC.

The club’s director of football Andoni Zubizarreta has lost patience with Lihadji, who is also wanted by Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund.

The France under-18 winger is one of the top prospects in his age group.

United would like to sign him, and would be aware that only a modest compensation would be due to Marseille.

Lihadji made his Ligue 1 debut in September, but he has not been a regular for Marseille in the first team this term.
