Arthur Melo admits his move to Barcleona almost never happened.
The midfielder left Gremio for Barca 18 months ago.
But he recalled to Fui Clear: “My signing with Barça was on the verge of breaking. It was a very complicated negotiation because Gremio wanted to get more money, and I understand it because after all they trained me from the age of 14 and invested time and money in me.
“If I ended up signing for Barça, it was thanks to the good relations I had with the president of Grêmio and all the people of the region. They understood that it was my dream.”
