Barca B coach Javier García Pimienta says Rique Puig is on the right track to being a first team regular.
García Pimienta is pleased with the improvements Puig has made this season.
He told Mundo Deportivo: “He is 20 years old. (Lionel) Messi, Xavi or (Andres) Iniesta there has only been one.
“And getting to the first team so young is very difficult. Being up without playing makes no sense. He has taken a step forward in terms of performance, even in terms of goals because he is closer to the opposition goal.
“He is a player that we have promoted quickly. He must do things very well at Barça B and wait for his chance.”
