Real Madrid ace Eden Hazard has been ruled out of the El Clasico against Barcelona.
It would’ve marked his first game as a Real player against their eternal rivals.
But the Belgian forward has been ruled out of the December 18 game with a microfracture on his right ankle.
Madrid released a medical statement on Thursday. They previously said it was just bruising, with his expected time out rising from 10 days to over a month.
Hazard suffered the injury against PSG in the Champions League, when a tough tackle from compatriot Thomas Meunier took him out.
Marcelo, meanwhile, is also a doubt for the Camp Nou clash with a calf injury.
