Spain coach Luis Enrique: Apparently our Euro 2020 draw is fine

Spain coach Luis Enrique was happy with their Euro 2020 draw.

Spain have been drawn with Poland, Sweden and one of Bosnia, Northern Ireland, Slovakia or the Republic of Ireland in the tournament which is due to begin on June 12.

“Apparently the draw is fine, but the coaches are rubbish, that makes it harder,” Luis Enrique explained sarcastically.

“I’m not here to play a game of tennis [with Robert Moreno].

“I gave my version and it ended there, I repeat that I’m not here to play table-tennis, although I’m good at it.”

Having avoided a potential group of death containing France and Germany, Luis Enrique was somewhat pleased.

“At first you breathe a sigh of relief, but you never know,” he added.

“It is true that if you meet them in the group then you can’t play them until the final, but I’m happy.

“I’m glad to be here in the draw and glad to see many people who I haven’t seen for a long time.”
