Wow! Chelsea hand Pep worst ever stats – right through to Barcelona

Chelsea‘s defeat to Manchester City still saw them grab a record off Sky Blues manager Pep Guardiola.

The Sun reports Guardiola’s City recorded the worst possession total he has ever managed in a league game but still beat Chelsea.

City had 46.74 per cent of the ball at the Etihad as Frank Lampard‘s Blues gave them a real test.

That is the least amount of time in possession Guardiola has seen in his managerial career.

The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss, 48, has taken charge of 381 top-flight matches.

But despite taking the lead through N’Golo Kante, Chelsea could not hold on to the points.
