LIVE: Liverpool vs Leicester City

Don’t go anywhere because the teams are out and kick-off is coming up next!

Vardy has five league goals so far this season and Rodgers will be hoping he adds to this tally today. Well, Vardy actually has an excellent minutes-per-goal ratio against ‘top six’ sides, scoring once every 150 minutes against them since the start of the 2010-11 season. Only Sergio Aguero has a better record in that time.

Jurgen Klopp makes two changes from the side that beat RB Salzburg in the Champions League on Wednesday, dropping Henderson and Gomez to the bench for Milner and Lovren. Just the one change for Leicester – Maddison returning to the starting XI after missing last weekend’s 5-0 hammering of Newcastle with an ankle injury. He comes in for Perez.

SUBS: James Justin, Hamza Choudhury, Wes Morgan, Demarai Gray, Ayoze Perez, Marc Albrighton, Danny Ward.

LEICESTER XI (4-1-4-1): Kasper Schmeichel; Ricardo Pereira, Jonny Evans, Caglar Soyuncu, Ben Chilwell; Wilfred Ndidi; Harvey Barnes, Denis Praet, Youri Tielemans, James Maddison; Jamie Vardy.

SUBS: Caoimhim Kelleher, Jordan Henderson, Harvey Elliott, Adam Lallana, Joe Gomez, Divock Origi, Naby Keita.

LIVERPOOL XI (4-3-3): Adrian; Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dejan Lovren, Virgil van Dijk, Andrew Robertson; James Milner, Fabinho, Georginio Wijnaldum; Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane.

In fact, Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 43 matches at Anfield – the longest current run in Europe’s top five leagues! But how about this – Leicester were the last side to take points off Liverpool at home.

This is Brendan Rodgers’ first return to Anfield four years and a day since he was sacked as Liverpool manager. He returns with a Leicester side currently third in the table and with eyes on a top four spot at the end of the season. But the Liverpool side they face is a different beast to the one Rodgers left – they’re the league leaders and on a run of 16 straight Premier League wins.

Hello and welcome to live coverage of a big Premier League game between Liverpool and Leicester.
