Real Madrid vs Granada Betting Tips: Latest odds, team news, preview and predictions

The visitors have been the surprise package of the season so far in the Primera Division and we are backing them to contribute to a high scoring game

The top two sides in La Liga meet on Saturday at the Bernabeu as leaders Real Madrid host second-placed Granada.

Zinedine Zidane’s side endured a poor night in the Champions League in midweek being held to a 2-2 draw by Club Brugge and they will need a strong showing this weekend to get back on track.

Granada for their part have been the revelation of the season so far in Spain‘s top flight and the newly promoted side head the capital with little to lose.

Latest odds

Sportsbet offer a third home win of the season for Zidane’s men at 1.28 with the draw at 5.50.

Granada’s only ever win at the Bernabeu came in 1974 and they are priced at 9.00 to claim a historic victory.

Real Madrid vs Granada Team News

Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez were both rested for the European clash in midweek and both could come back into the starting eleven.

Isco was an unused substitute and could also push for a starting berth after recovering from injury.

Marco Asensio, Ferland Mendy and Nacho Fernandez are all unavailable.

The visitors are likely to be without midfielder Fede Vico and full-back Quini.

Real Madrid vs Granada Preview

Despite their European disappointments this season, Los Blancos remain the only side in La Liga yet to taste defeat and their last three domestic matches have brought seven points and three clean sheets.

Granada meanwhile are in superb form with four wins and a draw from their last five matches including a famous 2-0 win against champions Barcelona two weeks ago.

The Andalusians conceded four goals in their first game of the season at Villarreal but in their subsequent six games have only conceded twice and Diego Martinez’s well organised unit have suprised many.

Granada are the top scoring side away from home this season having netted in every game they have played away from the Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes and with Madrid keeping only three clean sheets in their last 11 home league matches there could well be goals and both ends on Saturday.
