Everton vs Manchester City Betting Tips: Sterling value to strike at Goodison Park

The England forward was rested for the champions’ 8-0 victory over Watford but our tipster is backing him to get amongst the goals on Saturday

Sergio Aguero will be looking to improve on his dismal goalscoring record against Everton when Manchester City head to Goodison Park this Saturday.

The Argentine has netted just twice in 13 fixtures against the Toffees, his worst minutes-per-goal ratio among teams he’s faced more than once in the Premier League, but is bet365’s 4/6 (1.67) favourite to score at the weekend.

Despite only facing Everton four times in his career, Gabriel Jesus has four strikes against them and is 20/21 (1.95) to add to that tally, although the Brazilian is set to start on the bench behind Aguero.

Raheem Sterling is also a 20/21 (1.95) shot to record his first Premier League strike since August 25, having scored against the blue half of Merseyside on three of the last four occasions he has faced them.

Bernardo Silva is yet to find the net against Everton in his career and is 11/8 (2.37) to continue where he left off after netting a hat-trick in the 8-0 thrashing of Watford last weekend.

Riyad Mahrez is a 7/4 (2.75) shot whilst Kevin De Bruyne can be backed at 2/1 (3.0), with David Silva and Phil Foden both out at 13/5 (3.60).

Everton have scored just five times in their six fixtures this season with new signing Moise Kean yet to get off the mark, but he is available at 3/1 (4.0) to do just that on Saturday.

Richarlison is top scorer for Marco Silva’s side this season with two strikes and can be backed at 10/3 (4.33) to net anytime, with Cenk Tosun also quoted at the same price.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin could be in line to start after scoring in his last Premier League fixture as well as twice in the Carabao Cup at Sheffield Wednesday in midweek, and may prove a popular bet at 15/4 (4.75).

Gylfi Sigurdsson scored 13 times last season and can also be backed at 15/4 (4.75) to open his account for this campaign, with Theo Walcott at 9/2 (5.50).

Alex Iwobi has made just two starts this season after his summer move to Everton from Arsenal and bet365 offer the Nigerian international at 6/1 (7.0) to score his second Premier League goal of the campaign.
