Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho is a step away from moving to Tottenham.
Barca have made Coutinho available for loan in the past fortnight and had fielded interest from Spurs and Arsenal.
The Times says Spurs now have an agreement with Barca about a season-long loan for the midfielder.
Coutinho is set to move to Tottenham for a fee of €23m and Spurs will also cover 100 per cent of his €12m salary.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is delighted with the move, having complained about a lack of additions this summer.
