Sport says the LaLiga giants are actively looking to move the former Liverpool star on.
However, they are doing so quietly in order to stop his market value decreasing too much.
United and City are yet to make an offer though and neither have Paris Saint-Germain, who could swap him for Neymar.
Coutinho left Liverpool 18 months ago for a fee rising to €140m.
