Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has completed the purchase of Gimnastic Manresa, adding to his pre-existing ownership of FC Andorra.
The Barcelona defender’s proposal was approved by 80 percent of the club’s partners.
Nacio Digital have reported that the offer has been accepted immediately, having been made through Pique’s company, Kosmos.
The plan is that Manresa become the academy of FC Andorra, as the neighbouring team are currently without a youth setup and only have a first team.
