Moussa Wague admits he’s full of pride being a Barcelona player.
Wague became the first Senegalese player to debut with Barcelona, coming up from the B team after arriving from KAS Eupen in Belgium.
“I feel proud of playing at the best club in the world because Eto’o, Keita and Yaya Toure made me dream of it when I was little,” he said.
“This year I had the luck to finish the season with the first team, becoming a La Liga champion.
“I’m progressing a lot each day with Messi, Luis Suarez and Dembele in training. Sometimes we look at Leo and we’re left with our mouths open. I haven’t dared to spend much time around him for the moment. What would he think if he knew that I wore his shirt when I was little? Maybe one day he’ll give me one of his real shirts, perhaps?”
