AS Monaco midfielder Cesc Fabregas says no-one should doubt the ambition of former Chelsea teammate Eden Hazard.
After winning the Europa League last night, Hazard is expected to move to Real Madrid in the coming days.
And Cesc told BT Sport: “I don’t think Chelsea can offer what Hazard deserves right now. At Chelsea there is a ceiling. I know that Eden says that he doesn’t care about the Ballon d’Or, but deep down it really does matter to him. He can win that prize at Real Madrid, as well as the Champions League.
“He can do so much better, beyond the ceiling at a club like Real Madrid. These kind of clubs, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City and Bayern Munich, always come back. Real Madrid has now had a terrible season, but they will no doubt be back soon.”
