Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has dismissed claims his job is on the line today.
It’s been suggested Valverde could be sacked if they lose the Copa del Rey final to Valencia.
“I’m not thinking about [my job], only winning,” Valverde said at his press conference.
“Coaches know that your job is on the line every day and we’re part of the show.
“You don’t have to look at the standings this year to see that this doesn’t only happen to me. [Valencia boss] Marcelino had a moment, [Real] Madrid have changed coaches twice [dismissing Julen Lopetegui and Santiago Solari]… you look through the teams [in Spain] and everyone has had a difficult time.”
