Barcelona chiefs fear they’re losing the transfer battle for Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt to Premier League clubs.
Barca had wanted to conclude a deal this week, ahead of De Ligt joining up with the Holland squad for the UEFA Nations League – but that will no longer happen.
Indeed, Sport reports Barca are no longer certain of completing a deal at all, despite claims of an agreement back in April.
Manchesters United and Manchester City are now making huge offers – and this has led De Ligt to ask Barca for more money.
De Ligt is currently represented by Italian super agent Mino Raiola.
