There is nothing at stake for either side this weekend with the Blaugrana having wrapped up the title two weeks ago, and the Basques having already confirmed their top flight status for another year.

Team news
Both Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele are missing for Barca, with both players also ruled out of next weekend’s Copa del Rey final. Given their involvement in the showpiece next Saturday night, there is a chance Valverde chooses to rest some players.
Eibar have defenders Pedro Bigas, Anaitz Arbilla and Ruben Pena missed although with forward Marc Cardona.

Barca’s last away game in La Liga saw them field a much-changed side in Vigo and lose 2-0 to Celta, just before their Champions League semi-final second leg defeat at Anfield.
The trauma of that European capitulation will live long in the memory of fans and players alike, although some of that disappointment could be lessened if the side complete a second consecutive league and cup double next weekend.
This game at Eibar is of little consequence to the Catalans, and while they could well still record a win against one the division’s smallest clubs, it is unlikely to be a game of any real intensity.
