Former Barcelona coach Carles Rexach has questioned plans of signing Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann.
The fact that Griezmann didn’t join Barcelona last summer has led Rexach to wonder if the opportunity has already passed the forward by.
“As a footballer, he has quality, but I didn’t like everything that happened last year about whether he was staying or going,” Rexach said.
“I think that sometimes in life the train comes and if you don’t get on it then the chance has gone.”
Rexach was a Cup Winners’ Cup winner with Barcelona 40 years ago.
