Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde says he’s not considered his future over the past week.
Valverde was proud of his players after Sunday’s defeat of high-flying Getafe – just days after their stunning Champions League elimination at the hands of Liverpool.
Barca’s meltdown led to talk of Valverde leaving, particulary after it emerged his contract carries a mutual end of season break clause.
However, after Sunday’s 2-0 triumph the coach made it clear his commitment has never wavered.
“Did I think to resign? No,” was his short response to question from an AS reporter.
