Fiorentina legend Gabriel Batistuta admits he found Liverpool‘s Champions League defeat to Barcelona inspirational.
The Reds reached the final after defeating Barca 4-0 at Anfield, winning the semifinal 4-3 on aggregate.
“Liverpool‘s comeback was incredible, with technical and physical differences that moved me,” Batistuta posted to social mdia.
“Despite some big absences and opponents like Barcelona, their winning mentality transformed them into lions.”
The Reds will meet Tottenham in the final.
