Klopp and Salah floored as Liverpool accept Champions League campaign over

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and his players have already written off their Champions League campaign for another.

After the 3-0 first-leg semifinal defeat at Barcelona, Sport reports Liverpool accept the tie is over.

While publicly they were positive, the players and their manager were left floored by the result.

Beyond his post-match interviews, Klopp struggled to smile and would only give Spanish reporters a thumbs up when asked about his emotions in the mixed zone.

The player who was hurt the most was Mohamed Salah, who kept his eyes to the ground as the passed through the media scrum. In contrast, Virgil van Dijk was willing to take questions and was phlegmatic with his response.

Alberto Moreno was also asked for a reaction, but would only say: “Sorry, I have not played.”
