The first was in relation to their supporters using flares against Lyon in the Champions League. The ‘Boixos Nois’ were the ones adjudged to have thrown the flares after clashing with the local police. The security at the stadium preferred to let the radical group enter, despite not havign tickets, and didn’t check if they were carrying anything illegal.

The second incident was opened four days after the initial events. This was after Tottenham made a complaint for what they claimed was a lack of organisation on the part of FC Barcelona. If found guilty, they would be hit with a fine.

UEFA have finally decided to fine Barça 1,500 euros for the incident in Lyon and dismiss the complaint by Tottenham. Lyon, on the other hand, were fined 28,000 euros as they allowed the incident to happen.
