Ligue 1 No longer under UEFA investigation

Paris Saint-Germain are free to flex their muscles in the summer transfer window after the Court of Arbitration for Sportclosed the investigation into the club’s compliance with financial fair play rules.
The French club wanted to deny some media claims which reported that they were part of a special investigation looking into the signings of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
The case was reopened by UEFA precisely because of the pressure exerted upon them by some clubs as a result of the massive fees shelled out for the signing of these two players.
In addition, and despite the fact that the transfers investigated at the time by UEFA (from 2014 to 2017), did not include last season in which the signings of Neymar and Mbappe took place, the club has already complied with the requirements of UEFA with respect to the three investigated seasons in which the PSG had to sell players in June 2017 for a value of 60 million and their sponsorship contracts have already been adjusted to the values required by the Investigation Chamber.
The PSG case was closed firstly by the UEFA Investigation Chamber on 13 June 2018. concluding that there was no reason to believe that the French club had violated Financial Fair Play.
The Adjudicatory Chamber decided to reopen the case three weeks later but the appeal did not become effective until 19 September 2018.
It was then that the PSG filed an appeal to the CAS before such decision and the Court has given its result.
