Tim Howard is hoping to kick off his final season as a player on a positive note, but it won’t be easy with the MLS Cup finalists coming to Commerce City on Saturday. The Rapids are feeling optimistic they can put last year’s disappointment behind them and make a playoff run, while the Timbers return the nucleus of last year’s squad and should again be a contender in the West.
