VIDEO: Robert Lewandowski, Memphis Depay – The Ones to Watch in the UEFA Champions League

The UCL Last 16 is in full swing on Tuesday evening – who will be crowned the Santander Player of the Week?

The UEFA Champions League is firmly up and running after some explosive last 16 ties last week, with more European heavyweights ready to plant one foot in the last eight of Europe’s premier club competition.

Who will rise up above the rest and be crowned the UEFA Champions League Player of the Week, sponsored by Banco Santander?

Five-time winners Liverpool face fellow UCL royalty Bayern Munich, whose fearsome forward Robert Lewandowski is the competition’s top goalscorer with eight goals.

Lewandowski, who reached the UCL final with Borussia Dortmund in 2013, will be hoping score in five consecutive UCL matches in the same tournament for the first time in his career.

The Poland superstar will be looking to bag at Anfield this evening, while Lyon‘s Memphis Depay will hope to be the creator for his fellow teammates against Barcelona. The Dutch international has provided four assists in the UCL this season, the joint-most alongside Kylian Mbappé and Riyad Mahrez.

Voting for Player of the Week opens on Thursday.
