The Houston Dynamo make their return to the Concacaf Champions League for the first time since 2013-14 when they meet Guastatoya in the opening leg of the 2019 CCL Round of 16 from Guatemala City Tuesday night.

The Dynamo had an active offseason, bringing in Slovenian international defender Aljaz Struna and Argentine Matias Vera to partner alongside defensive midfielder Juan David Cabezas, while also keeping the attacking trio of Alberth Elis, Mauro Manotas and Romell Quioto together.
