Juventus sign Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey to 4-year deal

In an exclusive to ESPN FC, former Liverpool and Juve striker Ian Rush says Aaron Ramsey must go into Juventus thinking he’s the best player in the world to succeed.

Wales manager Ryan Giggs expects to see an improved Aaron Ramsey if he seals a move from Arsenal to Juventus.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery insists he respects Aaron Ramsey’s decision to join Italian giants Juventus.

Juventus have signed a contract with Arsenal’s midfielder Aaron Ramsey, the Italian football club confirmed on Monday.

The contract will be effective as of July 1 and will expire on June 30, 2023, Juventus said in a statement.

Wales international Ramsey has made more than 250 Premier League appearances since joining Arsenal from Cardiff City in 2008, but he failed to agree on a new deal with the London club in the final year of his contract.

The impasse has enabled the 28-year-old to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs since Jan. 1.

According to a BBC report, Ramsey will earn over £400,000 pounds a week, making him the highest-earning British player ever based on basic salary.

Ramsey has made 22 league appearances for Arsenal this season, scoring twice, including a splendid strike against Fulham in October that was regarded by many as an early contender for goal of the season.
