UEFA Champions League knockouts to start on Tuesday

The first leg matches of round 16 in the UEFA Champions League 16 will start Tuesday.

The first legs will take place on Feb. 12-13 and 19-20, and the second legs will be played on March 5-6 and 12-13.

Four teams from England and three from Germany and Spain each will compete in the last 16 round.

Italy and France will join the race with two clubs each, while the Netherlands and Portugal will vie against their rivals with one team each.

First leg matches of Round 16 are as follows:

Manchester United v Paris

Roma v Porto

Feb. 13:

Tottenham Hotspur v Borussia Dortmund

Ajax v Real Madrid

Feb. 19:

Lyon v Barcelona

Liverpool v Bayern Munchen

Feb. 20:

Fenerbahce to face Zenit in Europa League round of 32

Turkish football giants Fenerbahce will face Russia’s Zenit in the first leg game of the round of 32 in UEFA Europa League on Tuesday.The match will kick off 1755GMT in Ulker Stadium in Istanbul.So far, Fenerbahce have played 228 matches in UEFA competitions, winning 83 games and losing 97.The struggling Yellow Canaries have been suffering the worst Turkish league season in their history, with only five wins in 21 outings.Fenerbahce are now in 14th place and a distant 23 points away from the top spot while Zenit is at the top of Russian league with 34 points.
