Dynamo Kyiv applied for playing in UEFA Europa League, to stand against Olympiakos in round of last 32 – Dynamo Kyiv files application to play in UEFA Europa League

Dynamo Kyiv has officially filed the application of players who are to perform in the UEFA Europa League. The UEFA official website reported that on Tuesday.  

Dynamo manager Aleksandr Khatskevich put 31 players on the list, including four goalkeepers and four forwards. The rest represent the defensive line and the midfield.

In the In the round of last 32, Ukrainians will face Olympiakos. The first leg is to be played in Greece on February 14. Kyiv is to host the return leg on February 21.

Earlier, Shakhtar Donetsk also applied to play in the Europa League.

In December, Dynamo lost to Czech Republic’s FK Jablonec within UEFA Europa League schedule. A fast goal by Jablonec made a perfect sense early in the first half, as the Kyivites allowed a breach in their defense after a corner. Despite the more versatile experience and the higher rank of the home team, Dynamo had nothing to return the favor with.
