Cesc Fabregas could be on his way to Ligue 1

After falling down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea and Spain midfielder Cesc Fabregas is reportedly set to partway with the Blues in January.

The former Arsenal player joined the Blues in 2016-17 in Conte’s first season at the club and helped the team to Premier League glory.

The 31-year-old’s importance at Stamford Bridge begin to reduce in the latter part of last season, no thanks to injury and Conte’s lack of trust in his abilities.

He only played a bit-part role in Chelsea’s awesome run to last season FA Cup glory as they defeated Manchester United in the final match.

”From fry pan to fire,” that is the best phrase to describe how things have turned out for the former world cup winner since the start of this campaign.

Awesome performances from former Everton midfielder Ross Barkley and summer signing Jorginho — who joined the Blues from Napoli have condemned the  Barcelona former Barcelona product to a permanent place in Sarri’s substitute bench.

Cesc hardly featured for the Blues in  League games and he has reportedly made up his mind to leave the west London club as soon as the January window commences.

Considering his experience and exploits with all the clubs he’s played for, Paris St-German boss Thomas Tuchel is looking at the prospect of luring him to the Parc Des Princes Stadium.

According to French media outlet L’Equipe, Tuchel is set to upgrade his team’s performance at the middle of the pitch and he believes Cesc possesses all the traits lacking in his current squad.

It should be recalled that their previous manager Unai Emery, who is now with Arsenal, spent so much money bolstering the attacking department in the previous season.

He brought Kylian Mbappe and Neymar from Monaco and Barcelona respectively, but the Spaniard failed to add quality midfielders to the team.

During the summer transfer market, Tuchel brought just free agent Lassana Diarra to the middle of the park and it appears the Frenchman needs a very mobile and experienced partner.

Apart from Tuchel’s interest, it was earlier reported via Tuttosport that Serie A giants AC Milan are keeping a close tab on the former Arsenal man.

It was also speculated that Monaco manager Thierry Henry is hoping to reunite with his former teammate before the end of the season.

The former Arsenal striker is struggling to lift the one-time Ligue 1 Champions out of relegation zone but he believes adding the experienced midfielder to his team will solve his team’s lack of creativity.
