Doucoure has developed into one of the best midfielders in the Premier League with his pace and power and attracted interest from some of the best clubs in the division including Tottenham and Arsenal.

Watford tied Doucoure down to a new five-year deal in August though, but that has not put clubs off trying to lure him away.

The 25-year-old was subjected to intense speculation regarding his future in the summer, but agreed terms on a new contract that runs until 2023. He joined the Hornets in 2016, has made 81 appearances and scored 10 goals.
