Best goal of the group stages announced

Ivan Rakitic’s rocket goal against Tottenham in the second round of the Champions League group stage has been named the Goal of the Group stage.

Rakitic scored the second goal for Barca at Wembley as the Catalans beat Spurs 4-2. Philippe Coutinho saw his shot blocked by Davinson Sanchez before the Brazilian then found Rakitic outside the area.  Just outside the box, the Croatian unleashed a crisply-timed strike which rocketed past Hugo Lloris before smashing into the upright and into the back of the net.
