Major League Soccer announced all 24 clubs’ 2019 home openers, with the season kicking off on Saturday, March 2. There are some great matchups to look forward to on opening weekend.

The Philadelphia Union and Toronto FC will get the season underway, kicking off at 1 pm ET on Saturday, March 2 at Talen Energy Stadium. That match kicks off a deep slate of games, including expansion side FC Cincinnati’s first MLS game, when they travel to take on the Seattle Sounders at CenturyLink Field at 10 pm ET.

The next day sees the beginning of Audi Field’s first full season, as D.C. United welcome Atlanta United to town as the Five Stripes kick off their title defense. That game will be followed by a matchup of two Western Conference playoff teams from 2018, with LAFC hosting Sporting KC at the Banc of California Stadium.

Atlanta will host their first MLS match of 2019 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium the following weekend, welcoming Cincinnati on Sunday, March 10. FCC will have to until March 17 for their first MLS home game, at Nippert Stadium against Portland.

Further on down the road, Minnesota United FC are slated to christen brand-new Allianz Arena on Saturday, April 13 against New York City FC, shortly after the Montreal Impact get their 2019 home slate underway at Stade Saputo.

Lastly, due to renovations at Providence Park, the Portland Timbers won’t play a home game until Saturday, June 1 against LAFC.
