The Top Clubs In UEFA Ranking Revealed

Despite their struggles this season, Real Madrid remain at the top of UEFA’s latest club ranking, while the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United are outside the top 10. Here are Europe’s 10 strongest clubs, according to UEFA.

European football’s governing body updates its rankings for European club competitions after every round of Champions League and Europa League football, and has now published its latest version.

Los Blancos remained at the top with 144 points, 17 points more than second-placed Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona on 127 points each. Atletico Madrid sit in fourth position with 125 points, followed by Juventus with 120 points.

Paris Saint-Germain appear are sixth with 101 points, while Manchester City are seventh with 99 points. Sevilla, with 97 points, FC Porto, with 90 points, and Borussia Dortmund, with 85 points, complete the top 10.

Arsenal sit just outside the 10 highest-ranked teams with 84 points, while Liverpool only appear in 14th position with 77 points – two points more than Manchester United.

Note: The rankings determine the seeding of each club in all UEFA competition draws. Clubs’ coefficients are determined by the sum of all points won in the previous five years, plus 20% of the association coefficient over the same period.
