Perhaps it’s too early to write off Ronaldo, who has a history of scoring regularly in the knockout stages of the competition. However, the Portuguese striker sits on only one goal after failing to hit the back of the net on matchday five.

Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski currently lead the UCL scoring charts with six goals each. The FC Barcelona captain added one strike to his tally in FC Barcelona’s 2-1 win at PSV Eindhoven this week, while Lewandowski scored a brace in Bayern’s 5-1 victory over Benfica on Tuesday.

AS Roma’s Edin Dzeko completes the podium with five goals, followed by six players, including Neymar and Harry Kane, who have netted four goals in this year’s competition so far.
