France vs Germany, LIVE stream online: Uefa Nations League 2018/19 football as it happened

France 2-1 Germany
Uefa Nations League

Venue: Stade de France

Antoine Griezmann‘s second-half double saw France come from behind to beat Germany 2-1 in Paris and push Joachim Low‘s side to the brink of a humiliating Nations League relegation.

The Atletico Madrid star struck twice after Toni Kroos’ penalty had given the visitors an early lead, as Germany’s nightmare 2018 continued.

The win puts France four points clear at the top of their Nations League group, though Netherlands have a game in hand.

Germany meanwhile, must beat the Dutch next month and hope other results go their way, if they are to avoid the drop.Relive all the action LIVE with Standard Sport!

That’s now just three wins in thirteen games for Germany. Utterly remarkable.

2018-10-16T20:39:50.303Z

France win again, despite not being at their best for large periods of the game.

They’re unbeaten in competitive home games since the EURO 2016 final.

FULL TIME

2018-10-16T20:36:20.820Z

95 mins: How long are we playing here ref?

Another wide free-kick. Massive header from Kimpembe.

2018-10-16T20:35:23.180Z

93 mins: Last chance surely.

Free-kick out wide and Kroos is over it. Deflected behind by Pavard, who didn’t know much about it.

2018-10-16T20:32:51.893Z

90 mins: Three minutes to be added on.

France will run the clock down with another change. No hat-trick for Griezmann but it looks like he’ll be the match winner tonight. Moussa Dembele of Lyon is on.

2018-10-16T20:29:15.460Z

88 mins: Thomas Muller is thrown into the mix in place of Serge Gnabry as the visitors look for a leveller.

2018-10-16T20:27:16.390Z

85 mins: What have the Germans got left?

France finally turn to the bench, and it’s Kylian Mbappe who makes way for Ousmane Dembele. No reprieve.

2018-10-16T20:22:28.100Z

80 mins: They’ve turned it around!

The penalty is possibly a little harsh, with Hummels and Matuidi coming together. It looks like Matuidi actually lands on the sliding German, although there’s a nudge in the back for good measure.

Either way, Griezmann steps up and send Neuer the wrong way.

79 mins: PENALTY TO FRANCE!

2018-10-16T20:19:20.920Z

77 mins: Typical of Paul Pogba’s night, the first time he’s properly caught one and it canons of Mbappe for a goal-kick.

2018-10-16T20:16:29.053Z

74 mins: Germany are doing well to stem the tide a bit here.

Leroy Sane is about to be replaced by Julian Draxler.

2018-10-16T20:09:22.456Z

67 mins: Sloppy from Kimpembe trying to do too much out from the back and Serge Gnabry fizzes a strike at Lloris.

2018-10-16T20:08:08.236Z

66 mins: Not seen enough of it tonight, but Manuel Neuer briefly does a stint at left back. Always enjoyable.

2018-10-16T20:04:58.646Z

62 mins: What a header!

Lucas Hernandez fizzes a cross from only just outside the penalty area in to Griezmman, who is a good 14 yards from goal but he reacts brilliantly to direct a header past Neuer into the top corner.

GOAL | France 1-1 Germany | Antoine Griezmann 62′

2018-10-16T20:01:45.650Z

60 mins: I’m not sure there’s a player in the world you’d back one-on-one over Kylian Mbappe but that’s terrific defending from Nico Schulz to stay with him.
