Ten breakout players to look out for during the latest Uefa Nations League fixtures

As the Nations League kicks-off again, Robson Friend takes a look at ten breakout stars who you may, or may not have, heard of before this week, but will surely be aware of once the international tournament draws a close.

Krzysztof Piatek (Poland & Genoa):

Genoa’s star man has quite literally popped up out of nowhere this season. With 13 goals in just eight matches, the 23-year-old is leading Europe’s elite leagues in goalscoring, presenting as a must watch when Poland play Portugal on Thursday and when they face Italy on Sunday.

Expect a host of scouts to be present and a flurry of transfer rumours to circulate following the two matches, with the young striker, who only won his first Poland cap during the last international break, proving to be a hidden gem in northwest Italy this season.

Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea have all been linked already to a player being described as the next Robert Lewandowski.
