Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira signs contract extension until 2021

Croatia coach Zlatko Dalic tried to qualify comments about Ronaldo not attending the UEFA awards ceremony insisting his comments were lost in translation.

Sami Khedira has signed a two-year contract extension at Juventus, keeping him with the Italian champions until 2021.

Germany international Khedira, 31, moved to Juventus in 2015 and has won the Serie A title three times since arriving in Turin.

“I just extended my contract at @juventusfc until 2021,” he wrote on Twitter.

“Since my first day I’ve had a special feeling and it quickly felt like home here. I’m very proud to be a part of the great history of the club and of the Juventus family.”

Khedira, who has also won the Coppa Italia three times, has scored 20 goals in 80 Serie A matches for Juventus.
