Looking a bit like fellow former Manchester United star Wes Brown, Depay first showcased his hair in the 3-0 win over Strasbourg.

It’s fair to say the Dutch star is not in the spotlight quite so much as during his time at Old Trafford.

But still a couple of viewers were affected enough to tweet their opinions on his appearance.

Depay, 24, has got off to a solid start in Ligue 1 this season, scoring one goal in Lyon’s opening three games.

But what a goal it was, curling in a free-kick from just outside the area.

That bit of magic came in the 2-0 win over Amiens, before a 1-0 defeat at Reims and 2-0 triumph over Strasbourg on Friday night.
