Kylian Mbappe shows off new personalised Nike boots… complete with two stars after France World Cup win

AFTER Kylian Mbappe was handed a new shirt number by Paris Saint-Germain, the World Cup winner has also bagged himself a snazzy pair of new boots.

Mbappe helped Les Bleus become world champions for the second time as they triumphed at Russia 2018.

And Nike have customised their Mercurial boots for the brilliant forward and added a pair of stars to the tongue in his honour.

France already had one star above their shirt crest before the World Cup, having won the 1998 tournament on home soil.

They came prepared for the 4-2 win over Croatia last month and quickly changed into blue shirts with a second star to celebrate with the trophy in Moscow.

Mbappe, 19, netted a beauty in the second half and now has a constant reminder on his boots.

He proudly showed off his footwear to his 16.6million Instagram followers ahead of his return to action.

Mbappe was back at training last week but did not play in the French champions’ opening league win over Caen on Sunday.

When the former Monaco man is back on the pitch, he will be wearing 7 on his back instead of 29 this season.

He has picked up the shirt that Lucas Moura vacated when the Brazilian winger switched to Tottenham in January for £25m.
