Arsenal 5 Paris Saint-Germain 1: Match highlights as Gunners thump Ligue 1 champions

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of Arsenal’s friendly against Paris Saint-Germain on their pre-season tour of Singapore.

Having beaten National League side Boreham Wood 8-0 earlier in the month, the Gunners came up short against the Europa League holders Atletico Madrid on Thursday afternoon as part of the 2018 International Champions Cup.

Emile Smith Rowe’s stunning goal early in the second half cancelled out Luciano Vietto’s opener, but it was the La Liga outfit who emerged victorious via a penalty shoot-out.

Arsenal head coach Unai Emery knows all about PSG from his two years as manager and this clash is the first between the two clubs since the 2-2 draw at the Emirates Stadium in November 2016.

Fans will get to see Mesut Ozil, Alex Iwobi and Mohamed Elneny for the first time in pre-season, while summer signing Sokratis is expected to partner Calum Chambers in central defence.

Bernd Leno kept his place in goal having started against Madrid and there was also a start for attacking midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
