And Nantes did something special to announce the midfielder’s arrival, as characters dressed in the club’s shirts and the protagonist in a suit going through the Fortnite world.

They end up landing near a football pitch, where they score a goal before taking a look around.

The characters end up through a door where Evangelista is waiting with the message ‘Bem-vindo (Welcome)’.

The Brazilian became the club’s third signing, having recently brought in former Manchester United and Middlesbrough left-back Fabio.

Nantes become the latest club to delve into getting creative with announcing new signings.

Italian side Roma often produce hilarious graphics for their latest arrivals, including an IKEA-style design upon sealing Swedish goalkeeper Robin Olsen’s signature.

Southampton have followed a Panini sticker book theme when signing Angus Gunn and Mohamed Elynoussi this summer.

But Nantes’ latest signing will be hoping to take the Canaries higher than last season’s ninth-place finish.
