Leicester City forward Ahmed Musa wanted by Galatasaray

Ahmed Musa looks set for another spell away from Leicester City next season, with Turkish giant Galatasaray keen to take him on loan.

The 25-year-old spent the second half of the 2017/18 campaign on loan at Russian side CSKA Moscow; the same club the Foxes signed the Nigerian forward from for £16million back in 2016.

Musa, briefly Leicester’s most expensive player ever, has been a peripheral figure under Claude Puel, and his agent says a move to a UEFA Champions League club like Galatasaray could be just what is needed.

“Yes, we are in talks with Galatasaray. They are a huge club who’ll play in the Champions League. So why not? The transfer is possible,” William D’Avila told Turkish radio station Radyospor.

“Musa has offers from other clubs but he’s keen on playing for Galatasaray. We are currently working on a loan deal with an option to buy. He’ll make a decision soon. I think we can say there’s a 50 percent chance of Musa joining the club.”

Musa is currently at the World Cup in Russia, and came on as a second half substitute in the 2-0 defeat to Croatia on Saturday.
