The Super Eagles are enjoying world class treatment at their training camp at the Avita Resort in Bad Tatzmannsdorf, Austria, according to Berthold Benedek, one of the resort’s managers.
The Nigeria national team arrived at the four-star lodgings on Sunday where they are having their final preparation ahead of the 21st FIFA World Cup which starts later this month in Russia.
And Benedek exclusively told Complete Sports the Super Eagles are having the best of facilities and environment that will greatly help as they hope to make history in Russia.
In an email sent to Complete Sports editor, Dare Esan, Benedek wrote that the resort offers the Eagles excellent training and relaxation possibilities in a peaceful and quiet environment.
”All the necessary facilities for modern training are within walking distance. The football players experience both the outstanding quality of the football arena and the exclusive atmosphere of the AVITA Resort,” wrote Benedek who revealed the resort is located in the beautiful surrounding of the rolling hills of Südburgenland (120 km south of Vienna).
As a testimony to the uniqueness of the resort Benedek revealed the national teams of Nigeria’s Group D opponent in Russia, Croatia, those of Austria, Russia and Northern Ireland as well as such club sides like FC Köln, Fenerbahce, West Ham United, S.S. Lazio to mention but a few have made use of the resort to prepare for important competitions and for pre-season training.
“The Avita Resort is a UEFA-certified premium wellness resort which offers cuisine of the highest standard with homemade Pasta. It also has one of the most beautiful spa landscapes in Austria and a wide selection of saunas and steam baths,” he wrote.
Benedek revealed the staff and management of the resort are more than pleased to welcome the Super Eagles to its world class resort.
”Our whole team at the AVITA Resort****Superior is more than pleased to welcome the National Team of Nigeria in our UEFA certified hotel,” he wrote and further revealed that management of the resort have taken extra care of the pitch where the Eagles are having their training.
”Since weeks the playing fields are handled with special care in order to offer a perfect basis for the preparation (of the Super Eagles ) for FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia,” he further wrote and promised that they will pamper the Eagles such that it will have a positive effect on their preparation.
”We live football and therefore the Super Eagles will find perfect conditions for their team camp and all the employees of the AVITA Resort are giving their best for supporting and pampering the team on its way to Russia.”
