Edinson Cavani to Atletico Madrid

Cavani’s relationship with Neymar in Paris has reached breaking point and the Uruguayan has agreed a deal in principle to sign for Atletico Madrid. Cavani, who became PSG’s record goalscorer earlier this season surpassing Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has been persuaded to move to the Wanda Metropolitano by international teammates Diego Godin and Jose Gimenez. According to Mundo Deportivo, the 31-year-old has agreed to take a pay cut on his PSG wages after growing so frustrated with life in the French capital.

Bernd Leno to Arsenal

Arsenal are battling with Atletico Madrid to sign Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Leno after the German international turned down a move to Napoli. German newspaper Bild claims Leno’s representatives have held talks with Arsenal officials although the 26-year-old is keeping his options open given the amount of interest across Europe. Leno, who is under contract until 2020, will cost £22 million and rejected a move to Naples earlier this month.

Justin Kluivert to Roma

Manchester United target Kluivert has snubbed interest from the Premier League and wants to play in Italy, with Roma at the front of the queue. Voetball International report Roma are the 19-year-old’s preferred destination with Juventus and AC Milan also keen on the Ajax winger. Kluivert is out of contract next summer and talks look to have broken down after his agent Mino Raiola made a series of ambitious demands over a new deal.

Rui Patricio to West Ham

West Ham’s search for a new goalkeeper has landed at Sporting stopper Patricio, who is also wanted by Napoli and Crystal Palace. The Hammers are unlikely to offer Joe Hart a permanent deal after a disappointing season on loan from Manchester City while Adrian only has a year to run on his contract. Portuguese international Patricio, 30, has a release clause of €45m but, according to A Bola, is unlikely to command that sort of fee as Napoli are only prepared to offer in the region of €20m.

Ryan Sessegnon to Paris Saint-Germain

Sessegnon’s stock is rising by such an extent that French champions PSG are now in the hunt to sign the Fulham full-back. The 17-year-old is a Tottenham target this summer but the emergence of PSG as an interested party has complicated the situation for Spurs, according to The Times. Fulham are holding out for €50m for Sessegnon, who scored 15 goals to guide them into the Championship play-offs.
