The LA Galaxy started their match against Atlanta United on Saturday with a short bench and a key starter out.
Midfielder Jonathan dos Santos was a late scratch, due to an apparent injury during pregame warmups.

The injury and lineup switch were confirmed by LA Galaxy Insider Adam Serrano:
6′ Major test for Baggio Husidic who enters the lineup in place of Jona dos Santos who will miss the game due to a calf injury.

Baggio Husidic was brought into the starting XI in dos Santos’s place, although that left the Galaxy with just 17 active players as a result.
There will be no replacement on the bench for the @LAGalaxy, leaving Sigi with Carrasco, Pontius and Gio dos Santos — who has played since the second week — as cover in the midfield.
