Inter Milan to face Chelsea Atletico Madrid and Sevilla in International Champions Cup

Luciano Spalletti will lead Inter Milan into the International Champions Cup in Europe this summer.

Inter Milan will warm up for the 2018-19 season with fixtures against Chelsea, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla as part of the International Champions Cup this summer.

The club will not have as much travelling to do as Serie A rivals Juventus and AC Milan — who will both be spending almost a fortnight in the U.S. — since their fixtures will all be in Europe.

Inter face Chelsea in Gothenburg, Sweden, on Aug. 1 before returning to Italy to face Sevilla in Lecce on Aug. 7. Their final game will see them welcomed by Atletico to the Wanda Metropolitano — the venue of next season’s Champions League final — on Aug. 12, just under a week before the Serie A season commences.

Inter finished third in 2013 with a win over the LA Galaxy, and they were crowned champions of the Singapore edition last summer thanks to wins over Bayern Munich and Chelsea after having previously beaten Lyon in Nanjing, China.
