Isco and Casemiro scored as Real Madrid edged Malaga to pull within four points of second-placed Atletico in La Liga.
The Spain international opened the scoring just before the half-hour mark when he sweetly stroked home a free kick after being fouled by Roberto Rosales at the top of the box.
Casemiro doubled the lead after 63 minutes — the Brazil midfielder tapping into a gaping net from Isco’s cross after starting the play with a smart intervention at midfield.
The win gives Zinedine Zidane’s men 67 points from 32 matches, 15 clear of fifth-placed Betis.
